Online Art Magazine

About Us

Equator Echoes is an independent art magazine founded by Alessia D’Introno to explore and encourage Italian and international voices on colonial issues from Africa to its equatorial echoes.

The magazine offers curatorial, artistic and historical discourses from shaded contemporary narratives on post-colonial theory, class and gender. Equator Echoes brings black, diasporic and transfeminist histories to the center of contemporary artistic debate.
